I've been thinking of judgement lately and the pain it brings with it. It is a easy pit to fall into and hard to dig your self out of. I remember Jesus saying a little bit of yeast will cause the whole loaf to rise and certainly judgement falls into that category.
Their's this person I know and she / he is not the most loveable person you have ever been around. It would be easy for any one to pass judgement based on what they think of her / him but not having lived one single day in her / his shoes.
If we could only realize that what we see in others was in us first. We couldn't see all the terrible stuff unless it is within us first. That is what don't judge or you will be judged really means. If you judge something wrong in someone else remember you couldn't even see it in them unless it was first in you. So you are really judging what is in you and that is why it brings so much pain along with it. A little bit of it goes a long way and the more we look for faults in other people the more deeply rooted they become in us.
If you have to judge then it is better to look for the best in people and that in turn will bring about a change in you. Once you can see good and innocence in your brother or sister then that will become deeply rooted in you.
Peace and forgiveness!
